Team Portraits: Daniel

So far you met already a bunch of the caseable crew, however, our online marketing guy Daniel is still missing.

1. Tell us a little about yourself?

Sure, I am 24 years old and I graduated this summer from the EBS Universität für Wirtschaft und Recht in Germany, where i studied General Management for the last 3 years. I like to travel and spent time abroad, my favorites are definitely California and Australia…you cannot go wrong with sunshine and great beaches. Furthermore, I love music; my favorites at the moment are Shwayze, Matt Costa, and Donavan Frankenreiter.

2. What’s your job at caseable?

I pretty much do Online Marketing in all it’s varieties, such as Search Engine Optimization, Google AdWords, Social Media Marketing, but also more traditional things like Public Relations. There’s something new to do every day and I really enjoy that kind of  dynamic work environment here at caseable, it simply never gets boring.

3. What is your sport?

I played American Football for several years during High School. These days I prefer going to the gym and running, especially here in New York where I run along the waterside and see the Manhattan skyline and the Statue of Liberty.

4. Do you do the right thing?

I believe that as long as I keep doing what I like doing, I’ll be doing the right thing professionally and in private life. But with most decisions I think you’ll only find out afterwards if it was right or wrong, so just rely on your intuition.

5. Favorite Quotation.

It’s actually a line from the Steve Jobs Stanford commencement speech in 2005: “Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life.”(http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UF8uR6Z6KLc)

6. What is your future goal?

I want to start my own company and travel as much as I can. There’s just too much to see and too little time.

7. Slim or classic and of course what is your design?

I totally love the slim case. The slim just has an awesome shape and it fits your laptop like a second skin.

Team Portraits: Marvin

After the first co-founder Klaus was introduced a couple of weeks ago, it is now time for Marvin, the second co-founder, to reveal some personal information.

1. Tell us a little about yourself?

Well, where should we start. I am 26 years old, grew up in Germany, lived in Spain, France, the USA, United Kingdom and Argentina for a while, studied business, worked in Investment Banking, wanted to do something “real”, co-founded caseable, moved to New York…. and here I am.

2. Winter or summer?

Seriously, I dont understand people who like the winter. Sure for a few days it is nice… but that’s enough – so, clearly summer for me!

3. Pepsi or Coke?

Is there really a difference? Guess my taste buds are mediocre at the most… oh yeah… I eat very spicy, probably for the same reason!

4. Do you do the right thing?

Is there such a thing as “the right thing”?

5. Which cocktail are you?

I am a cocktail? Interesting. Guess Cuba Libre then. Why? Let’s have a few together and discuss this…

6. What’s it like working for caseable?

A fantastic experience. I have learned incredibly much over the last year, I have the privilege to work with a talented, and highly motivated team and I am happy going to work every day – who can say that?

7. What is your future goal?

Well, of course I want to build up caseable – a company that is recognized for innovation and a fun culture. We are on a good way, I would say.
Besides that, I want to spent at least 6-12 months travelling the world and capturing impressions through photography.
