Team Portraits: Sarah

It seems that caseable is expanding like crazy, already a new face in the office. Meet Sarah!

1. Tell us a little about yourself?

Hey I’m Sarah. I’m originally from New Jersey, now living in Manhattan. I am a senior at FIT studying Home Products Development. I love traveling and exploring new countries and want to cross the world, but for now I’ll settle for crossing America after I graduate. Or runaway to an island beach.

2. What’s your job at caseable?

I am the Marketing/PR intern here at caseable. I frequent fashion blogs, helping caseable be all kinds of fashionable.

3. Winter or summer?

SUMMER definitely, no question about it. It’s the greatest season of the year, nothing is better than hanging out at the beach in the summers.

4. What super hero ability would you like to have?

Teleportation. So I could travel fast! Especially in the cold New York winters.

5. If you have the choice, which animal would you like to be?

A bird, i think flying would be just the coolest thing ever. Or a house cat, they seem to be perfectly happy to lounge and chill all day.

Happy President’s Day

The folks at caseable wish everyone a Happy President’s Day. So what is President’s Day about? I assume most of you know what we are celebrating today, but especially our European fans might not be fully aware of this special day. Today is George Washington’s birthday.

If you want to find out more, check out Wikipedia, or just in case your eyes are really tired check out Youtube and learn everything about President’s Day in less than 4 minutes.

The coolest sleeve in the coolest bar: a cool result (Field Test)

Check out this awesome laptop sleeve field test submitted by 12designer. Thanks for sharing this cool story!

Good design is easy to recognize. You just see it, and fall in love with it. That happens with good ideas too: you stare at the screen or magazine, and you’re just unable to take your eyes away from it. It moves you, it touches you, it tells you a story.

Let us tell you ours.

We ordered a 12designer sleeve at Caseable.com. We travel quite a lot with our laptops (12designer.com is European market leader in design crowdsourcing, where your logo, flyer, webdesign or naming needs could be solved by a 12000+ creatives community), and we really wanted something different for our laptops. Caseable appeared at our sight, so we decided to brand our laptops with their revolutionary design-it-yourself system.

Just a week after, we received our sleeves, which were so beautiful that we thought: could not be better. So cool that we thought: could not be cooler. And proudly, we went through the coolest neighbourhood in one of the coolest cities in the world with our new 12designer Caseable sleeve. We also work on Saturdays, so our colleague Ralph went to a cool bar of the cool neighbourhood. He left his laptop at the table, turned it on, and went for a coffee. When he got back to his place, he saw a cool girl. With a cool computer sleeve in her hands. His.
She stared back at him. Her eyes were saying, “you’ll be thinking that I tried to steal it”, so she started mumbling:

- Sorry, I just… wanted to look it closer… it’s so lovely…
She touched it with her fingertips, as only women are able to touch delicate things. Then, she carefully placed it in the couch, looked back at him, and said, very softly, “goodbye” to the sleeve.
Isn’t that cool?

Remark: 12designer needed a corporate laptop sleeve and came to us. Are you interested in design, logos, flyers, webdesign, naming or multimedia projects? Then check 12designer, where design needs are solved by a creative community in open competitions.
