Sand and Fire.

We all know sand and fire makes glass, but Dale Chihuly takes it to another level! He is simply inspirational with his glass artworks. Yes, we know he has been around but wanted to share it anyways. Watch and find out!

According to Chihuly’s website, he was introduced to glass in the 1940′s. Now he’s been molding and displaying his work all around the US and Canada. He established the glass program at the Rhode Island School of Design. Which so happens to be where Nick graduated from!

Lucky for us New Yorkers he has an exhibition open in East Hampton (yes we know it’s a little bit far). It’ll be open till October 8th at LongHouse Reserve.

But have no fear, he has other current and upcoming locations where you can view his masterpieces.

P.S. caseable’s runway debut at the Boston Fashion Show was incredible! We are beyond thankful for the opportunity and pictures will be posted soon =).

caseable’s Catwalk

We’re very excited to announce that we will be a part of the Boston Fashion Show this upcoming weekend (Sept 24th to be exact). Caseable will be featured in The Emerging Trends category.

What is The Emerging Trends? It’s where emerging designers get to showcase their collection and launch their line. This will be its 4th year and within that time they’ve worked with over 50 international designers.

Andy Jacques has graciously taken us under his wing. The models strutting the runway will be holding our cases that have been designed just for this event. What designs you ask? You’ll just have to wait for their debut! Needless to say we are excited about this opportunity.

Isn’t it every case’s dream to catwalk a runway?

Now when you need a boost me up, or if you just want to mellow out you can find it. Step to the right beat while you’re working or if you’re home! Plus, you get to find new artists and songs.

Just roll over the mood pad to define the mood of your radio! Today I felt caseable needed an energetic and positive mood to start the week off right!

Once you click on your desired mood radio, you have the option to find music by decade and genres.

Pick #2: At stereomood you click on the activity that best suits your mood. Here it give’s you a playlist for the activity you’re currently doing or in the mood for.

Just scroll over the activity you’re feeling the most like! For caseable I’ve picked Good Karma as our playlist for the day.

The possibilities are endless.

Oh it’s always about the little things in life =).

Fall is Finally Here!

Labor Day marks the end of the summer season which sadly means put away those white pants and floral dresses.

Before summer was even officially over the fall trends were already launched. We took a look around and found some of our favorite trends and paired them with cases we’ve designed.

Mod Look
60’s are coming back! An era filled with simple designs and beautiful bold colors with a twist. You can never go wrong with such a classic look. We would like to believe Jackie Kennedy would carry this red retro design.

Suit It Up
Who said only men looked good in suits? One can never go wrong with black and white. Lets take formal attire to a new level.

Polka Dots
Seeing spots? So are we! Polka dots can be spotted on shirts this season, and our cases. You can even play connect the dots in your spare time ;).

Snake Skin
Animal print never seems to get old. We don’t mind since we love it! You’ll be finding snake skin on heels, sandals, handbags, and on us! Everyone has a wild side right? Why not unleash it!

Now as you wear the different styles for the season you can also dress up your laptop or iPad. How perfect!

What’s your favorite fall trend? Let us know!
Tweet us @caseable or post it on our Facebook page!
In the meantime feel free to create one that matches your style =)
